This is a small video about my work from the Digital-Tutors tutorials, this particular one is the ikSpringSolver, the hardest aspect of this was remembering how to correctly join the meshes to the joints.
This kind of ikSolver could be pretty useful in making leg joints on insects or aliens, etc.
This was a real quick piece of work done on Maya, meant to refresh my memory of using NURBS controls. It is a basic parent/object and constraint model. The object is a gun with moving parts, the only part to use the constraints are the two large side slabs with the rails attached to them. The magazine was a simple playblast.
More of the pieces of the weapon were meant to move but I couldn't get them to function properly, I need to refresh my memory of using constraints and NURBS controls.
